We aim to address the most fundamental ultrafast dynamics in advanced materials, leading to new generation quantum devices including single-photon sensing, emitting, biological Qubit, and highly efficient devices.

Professor Gao
Dr. Jianbo Gao
The UPQM Lab, led by Dr. Jianbo Gao, bridges the gap between the ultrafast photophysics dynamics and in-situ quantum devices and materials. We use advanced ultrafast spectroscopies to control the ultrafast correlation of fundamental particles and qusiparticles such as photon, charge, spin, exciton, phonon in quantum materials.
